Xoom MZ601 Load ICS
This was completed on a Telstra 3G+Wifi Xoom Tablet.
You must first have Clockwork Mod installed and your device Rooted. Follow this guide to achieve this
Step 1:
Download the ROM you want to load, I used the Team EOS ICS ROM, for this I needed to dowload both the ROM and the Google Apps, ensure you get the correct one for your device.
Step 2:
Save them to the sdcard on the Xoom
Step 3:
Reboot Xoom and load up “Recovery Mode”
Press “Volume Down” when DualCore Motorola is on the screen then press “Volume Up” when listing “Recovery Mode”
Step 4:
Perform a “wipe data/factory reset”
Step 4:
Choose “Install Zip from Sdcard”
Then select “Choose Zip from sdcard”
Step 5:
Now select the ROM first to install, in my case is was a file titled “Eos-umts-everest-2.0.0.zip”
Select yes to install
Wait until complete
Step 6:
Before reboot, install the google apps.
Same steps as above, but in my case select “gapps-ics-20120422.zip”
Wait until complete
Step 7:
Now setup and install the apps you need.
ICS is now installed.

Hi
I used your instructions to both root my xoom and install ICS. Thank you.
However, I found that I had to copy the zip files to the root of “internal storage” before I could achieve it. Worthwhile checking out.
Thanks again
Phil
